Place fresh blueberries in the fridge in a covered container. Do not wash until right before using. They will last this way for at least one week.
By freezing blueberries, you can have them to eat, bake or cook with any time of the
year, even in the middle of winter. You have two options for
freezing. Both work very well, and make it easy to remove measurable amounts at a time,
rather then clumps of berries.
1. Wash berries thoroughly. Place them on a baking sheet to dry. Once dry, place them on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and place in freezer. Once the blueberries are frozen solid, pack them into airtight containers and store them in the freezer.
2. Place your Kustermans' Blueberry bag right in the freezer. As needed, remove berries, wash thoroughly and voila! Tasty berries, ready for eating!
